Anand is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films along with a few Kannada productions. He has acted in several Malayalam and Tamil TV serials.
The actor's biggest film till date is Mani Ratnam's black comedy film Thiruda Thiruda, but unlike his co-stars of that film, it failed to give him a breakthrough. He has also played second lead roles and supporting characters in several films including Kamal Haasan's Sathya and Vijayakanth's Poonthotta Kaavalkaaran.[1]

He made his film debut in 1987 with Vanna Kanavugal.[2][3] He is best known for his works in films such as Sathya (1988), Anbe En Anbe (1988), Apoorva Sagodharargal (1989), Oor Mariyadhai (1992), Thalaivasal (1992), Thiruda Thiruda (1993), screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, and Enakku 20 Unakku 18 (2003).[4][5]
Anand also produced and directed a Malayalam short film 'Kassu Panam Thuttu Money Money'.[6][7] His recent works as a character actor include hits such as 1: Nenokkadine (2014), Ring Master (2014), Ivan Maryadaraman (2015), Srimanthudu (2015), and Gentleman (2016).[8]
Personal life[edit]
Anand was born in Hyderabad as the youngest of four sons. His father V. S. Bharathi, worked for Brooke Bond India Ltd, and his mother Rajalakshmi is a house wife. His brothers are B. Ramesh, a Vice President of Finance with Times of India, Dr. B. Suresh, a teacher at English Vivekananda College, and Bharat Arun, a former Indian cricketer and now bowling coach for Indian cricket team . Anand also owns a restaurant named Zenzerro in Thiruvananthapuram.[6][7]

Legal issues[edit]
In 2000, the actor was involved in drunk driving hit and run case, where he hit a police officer who had tried to stop him. The police officer, Ramachandran, subsequently succumbed to his injuries and the actor faced a murder charge.[2] The actor made a financial settlement with the victim's family.[3] Later he was acquitted, and was found innocent.
His house in Uthandi, Chennai was burgled in 2008 and the actor cited that it was an 'inside job'.[8]

Meghna Vincent is a South Indian television actress and an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer. Meghna is well known for the main female lead characters Amrutha in Chandanamazha (Malayalam), Rohini in Ponmagal Vanthal (Tamil), and Seetha in Deivam Thandha Veedu (Tamil).[1]

Meghna Vincent is from Cochin, her father Vincent is employed in Dubai, and her mother who was once a film actress is running an event-management company. Meghna Vincent is a graduate in B-Com with Computer applications. She has had prominent roles in two feature films, as Sridevi in the Malayalam Parankimala, and as Meghna in the Tamil Kayal .[2][1]

Meghna has acted in one Tamil feature film, Kayal, which was directed by Prabhu Solomon and produced by Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures. Later she played the lead role in Malayalam movie Parankimala which is an official remake of the movie in the same title.
- Serials
She made her debut through Malayalam serial Swamiye saran am ayyappa . Later she appeared in a supporting role in serials like Mohakkadal, Indira, Autograph.She played the main female lead Seetha Ram Chakravathy in the Tamil TV serial Deivam Thandha Veedu which airs on Vijay TV. It was one of the popular Tamil serials which ended in 992 episodes.[2]From 1 February 2014 she started playing the lead role Amrutha in the serial Chandanamazha in Asianet but after marriage in May 2017 she opted out of the later serial .Both the above serials are remake of Saath nibhana sathiya, a Hindi serial. She has a main role on ATMA' s serial Mamangam.[3] Currently she is acting in her second Tamil TV serial Ponmagal Vanthal as the lead role.
